This 2013 edition of Jay features the blue ninja in The Final Battle subtheme variant. Jay wears a jet pack that distinguishes him from earlier versions. While njo0016 from 2011 shows the original DX variant and njo0061 from 2012 presents the NRG execution, this minifigure displays Jay's equipment for the final battle. The jet pack variant differs clearly from later representations such as njo0160 (Airjitzu), njo0184s (Deepstone Armor), or njo0569 (Avatar Jay), each depicting different missions and story periods.
