The 10 Most Expensive Star Wars Minifigures

A promotional Yoda for a single store tops the list — but half the top ten came from ordinary sets. The most valuable Star Wars figures with current market values.

Star Wars is the largest minifigure range there is, and the only one whose top end is not made up entirely of convention exclusives. Half of this list came from sets you could buy in a shop.

Market values in euros, as-new condition, as of 23 September 2026.

The top 10

1. Yoda with the "I Heart NY" torso — about €4,800

A promotional figure for exactly one store in New York. Never at retail, the run correspondingly small — and by far the most expensive Star Wars figure.

2. Boba Fett (Cloud City) — about €2,100

From the 2003 Cloud City set. Full arm and leg printing that no other Boba Fett release of the era had.

3. Chrome Gold C-3PO — about €1,700

Nobody could buy one deliberately. Whoever pulled one got a figure that was never reissued.

4. Resistance Bomber Pilot Finch Dallow — about €1,300

The youngest entry on the list. The set ran briefly, the figure never came back — proof that current figures can reach four digits too.

5. Commander Fox (Coruscant Guard, Phase 1) — about €1,100

Without the light semicircle above the belt. An example of how fine the distinctions get at the top: later Fox figures cost a fraction.

6. Yoda with grey hair (Toy Fair 2013) — about €730

Same idea, same year, different hair — and a sixth of the price. The public show beats the trade show.

7. Yuletide Squadron Pilot — about €720

Calendar figures appear once, in a product nobody buys after Christmas. Whoever opened the calendar usually built the figure into something too.

8. Chrome Black Darth Vader — about €530

The chrome figures are the range's most reliable value group after the exclusives.

9. Darth Vader, early 1999 release — about €470

Light grey head, different torso printing. A figure that simply suffered from nobody keeping minifigures in 1999.

10. Luke Skywalker (Cloud City) — about €425

Cloud City again. The 2003 set puts two figures on this list, making it the most expensive single set in the range measured by what its figures cost today.

Just behind: the Clone Shadow ARF Trooper (about €400) and Lando Calrissian from the same Cloud City set (about €400).

What stands out

The most expensive clone troopers are variants, not characters. Commander Fox and the Shadow ARF Trooper are here for a printing variant, not for their role. Collecting clones means collecting details.

Cloud City is a special case. One 2003 set supplies three entries. Every range has sets like it: expensive on release, briefly available, with figures that existed nowhere else.

The gap customs fill is visible here. Battalions that never got an official figure appear in no price list, because they do not exist — they appear in the custom market instead.
