About Spider-Man 2099
Spider-Man 2099 (Miguel O'Hara) hails from the futuristic Nueva York of the year 2099 in the Marvel universe. Unlike the classic web-slinger, he possesses genetically modified powers resembling actual spiders, including talons and fangs. His iconic red-and-blue suit is derived from a Día de los Muertos costume. Visually, he has about as much in common with classic Peter Parker as a high-tech maglev train does with a rusty handcar. Who needs a sense of humor when you can frantically plunge into a dystopian future instead?
