Batman I

The first LEGO Batman line ran from 2006 to 2008, years before the DC Super Heroes theme took the licence over, and its figures still look like their own generation: earlier face prints, capes cut differently, colours the remakes dropped. The rogues' gallery was never assembled in quite this form again, with the Joker, Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, the Penguin, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Bane and Killer Croc all drawn for this one run. A closed theme, and the clearest before-and-after for a character you also own in a later version.
