SpongeBob SquarePants

SpongeBob ran from 2006 to 2012 and is one of the clearest cases of a licence that could not use a standard minifigure: SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs and Plankton are built from moulds made for them alone, in shapes the system has never reused. Only Sandy in her diving suit comes close to a normal figure. That makes the theme instantly recognisable and, because those pieces exist nowhere else, harder to replace than its modest size suggests.
