
Point the camera, get the figure
Hold the camera over a table full of collectible minifigure boxes — each one instantly wears the figure that is inside it. A green ring means you are still missing that one.
Nothing to open, nothing to guess. From series 25 on, every box carries a small code, and the scanner just reads it. What it finds collects underneath as a list; it only joins your collection when you press +.
A photo works the same way: one picture of six upturned boxes, six hits at once.
Only the older bags up to series 24 stay a manual job — they carry embossed dots instead of a code, and no camera can see those.
