Price histories, popular figures, better notifications and the newsletter

A figure's page now draws the actual price history from BrickLink's sales, instead of showing just two numbers. And a good deal more besides — among it a note about a possible newsletter that is worth your reading once.

Prices, in more detail

  • The price history draws the real sales — the longer the span, the coarser the points.
  • Market details behind a disclosure right below it.
  • Both from the Advanced tier.

The data is filling in piece by piece. While a figure has no history of its own yet, the page still falls back on the values of the last one to two months. The 300 most sought-after figures already have theirs — sw0296, sw0298, sw0299, sw0523, sw1078, or the 501st clones sw1246, sw1247 and sw1248.

Popular

  • A new tab in the community shows figures and lists people are after — at every screen width, not only on a phone.
  • Beside it, suggestions of who you might follow.

The bell listens better

  • It reports more: when somebody you follow gets figures from your wishlist, when your plan changes, when a hand-over offer has been waiting three days for an answer, and when one of your lists reaches 10, 50 or 100 likes.
  • And less: the inbox filters by kind, and the kinds you switched off no longer show up at all. Several wishlist matches from one person share a single row.

Thanks to @timbro for the nudge!

Plus various adjustments in advanced mode, and countless small improvements to the interface and the way it handles.

Newsletter: please take a look

There is no newsletter yet — and maybe there never will be. If it does come, it will be a good one, but I would like your okay for it first. Anyone signing up now is asked; for accounts that already exist, I need your permission.

So here is the ask: have a look at Settings → Account and check that the switch reads the way you want it. You can change it at any time, in either direction.

The sets in 0.9.2, by the way, got a post of their own.
